2010-2017 TOYOTA FJ CRUISER ADJUSTABLE REAR LINKS

Step 1: Support vehicle with jack stands and remove wheels using a 21 mm socket.

Step 2: Using 12 mm socket remove brake cable from lower control arm.

Step 3: Using 19 mm socket and wrench remove bolts from lower control arm. Make sure to press in the BIGGER sleeve for the lower control arm when assembling the bushing. Reinstall new lower control arm and torque all hardware to spec. Take car to tighten jam nut making sure the Heim joint does not bind. After installing lower arms adjust both arms to 682 mm.

Step 4: Using 17 mm socket remove the shock bolt from the bottom, using 17 mm wrench remove the nut from the top of the shock.

Step 5: Using 17 mm socket and wrench remove upper control arm. When assembling upper control arm bushings make sure to assemble using the SMALL sleeve, now install upper control arm to vehicle torque all bolts to spec. Make sure to tighten jam nut. After installing upper arms measure and set control arms to 315 mm from center to center.

Step 6: Using 19mm socket and wrench remove the track bar and install new track bar torque all bolts to spec . Make sure to tighten jam nuts after installation. Set the track bar to 1016 mm then adjust if needed after the vehicle is lowered.
